Product description

The string trimmer is ideal for precision trimming and edging. It features a Makita BL Brushless Motor for longer run time, increased power and speed and longer tool life. The efficient brushless motor delivers up to 6,000 RPM for faster cutting. The XRU23SM1 is equipped with a high/low button for power and run time management. There is also a variable speed trigger, allowing users to match the speed to the application. The easy-loading bump and feed trimmer head is preloaded with 0.080 in. twist line and can be loaded in seconds with 3 easy steps, align, feed and twist. The XRU23SM1 also features Makita Extreme Protection Technology (XPT). XPT is a protective seal inside the tool and is engineered for improved operation in harsh conditions by channeling water and dust from key internal components. The kit includes a charger and an 18-Volt LXT 4.0 Ah battery.
